- Digital textbooks should replace entirely paper textbooks by 2020 in New Brunswick.
For:
- I think they should be replaced for online access just in case if someone leaves their textbook at school they can go online and get their information.
- If parents want to see what their children are doing in school, they can go to the online textbook and see.
- They will save trees and paper, we can send our old textbooks to people in the world who don't have enough money to buy them for their school.
- If we replace the textbooks with onlines ones, some people don't have the access to get to a computer so they cant use that.
- The site could crash and there would be no "textbooks" available
- Someone could easily hack the site and change anything they wanted to that site and then we wouldnt learn the stuff we are suppose to.
- Schools in 2020 should be closed and teachers and students should begin learning in virtual classrooms using digital technology at home.
- I think it would be a good idea because then if you were sick you still wouldn't miss a day.
- It would be helpful for people that are sick or in the hospital due to medical conditions.
- They wouldnt have to cancel school for weather conditions either
- People wouldnt have the social factor they get from school
- They might not have a computer to actually get on the site
- People probably wouldn't bother logging on the online website.
